GTA V BSOD Windows 11

Featured Replies

This is not a request. This is a solution if anyone might be running into the BSOD while trying to play GTA V on Windows 11.

So did a fresh install and tested GTA V because it was crashing to and for two days I was getting BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) when the Lemar and Franklin first mission. I tried everything from updating all drivers and a Bios update nothing fixed it. It was Direct X 11 turned it off and the game is 125fps and no BSOD.

Windows 11 had a bug earlier this year with Direct X causing BSOD but they pushed out an update that supposedly fixed the issue, but this is Microsoft so it's still around in some games. I don't know if anyone else is having this issue, or has run into this yet. If so give this solution a try before you do anything else. If this is wrong place to post this, sorry admins 😞 if everyone already knows this, my google fits of rage trying to find an answer to fix this sure didn't show me the answer 😉.
