Hello, Last year I tried to mess around with LCPDFR but couldn't get it to work so I gave up, but this year I decided I'd give it another try.  Since 7/1/22 I've been trying to get LCPDFR to work and still no luck. After browsing a lot of forums and watching tutorials, I still can't find anything to help me so I thought I'd come and make my own post. I have uninstalled and reinstalled my game probably 5 times since then just trying to get it to work.

 

I have the game owned on Steam with a end game save, have downgraded down to patch 1.0.7.0 using the new automatic downgrader, and installed LCPDFR, ELS & VDH Police Helper on a CLEAN installation of my game. After around 30 seconds of being in the game with LCPDFR loaded it encounters an error and my game freezes my entire pc, forcing me to task manager close it. Here is my log, there are a few notable things in it but not sure what they mean?

Do note that I am using iCEnhancer 3.0 ENB, not sure if that has anything to do with the bugs but thought I'd mention it.

Anyone...? Still can't work it.

hey kjm i know its frustrating but mine did the same thing with any enb installed. I know it will make the game less appealing but i suggest removing gta iv, reinstall it and then install LCPDFR without any other mods run it and then if it works add the VDH police helper back in . I know its a pain with no enb but thats the most basic fix i can think of right now

These errors may also be because you have a completed game i suggest doing a new savegame, do the first mission then save it before you play lcpdfr
