The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

Could not hook game process. Insufficient permissions or bad anti-virus.

Keep getting the above error. I have already verified my files through steam, I have disabled windows defender, and added GTA 5 as an exception. and tried a few other things, but nothing is working. Now if I reboot my computer, then I can play LSPDFR for a while, but once I exit out, then the same error pops up again?

Anyone have any suggestions??

Thank you

There are several common reasons behind this:

  • RPH could require administrator privileges on your computer in order to hook.
  • Antivirus is blocking RPH.
  • You have another instance of RPH already hooked to your running game.
  • Another DirectX hook (such as NVIDIA overlay program) was hooked to your running game thus preventing RPH to hook to your game.

Supporting is somewhat like locating an issue, then trying to apply a protocol that would eventually guide the subject to fix their game, and sometimes, on rare occasions, trying to diagnose a weird issue with everything you know.
