The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

Hi all,

I am very new to LCPDFR and its associated mod, so please forgive the stupid question.

I have GTA V on Steam, running at latest version, and I also have the latest version of RagePluginHook.

LCPDFR runs fine, with no issues at all, however, I have wanted to add more plugins to make it an even more realistic experience, so I downloaded things like ELS, Stop The Ped, ALPR etc etc.

I have read the readme files, and follow the installation instructions (for example with ELS placing the files into the main GTA directory), but when I go to start the game, Rage starts up, gets as far as "Validating Hook" and then it crashes to desktop. If I do a fresh install of GTA and LCPDFR with no other mods, it then works again.

I am no doubt missing something simple, but this is all new to me.

Hi, no problem you are welcome, can you post the Ragepluginhook.log please.

Also, Scripthook has no been updated to the latest GTA version

I doubt if the log file even exists because 'Rage starts up, gets as far as "Validating Hook" and then it crashes to desktop'.

Supporting is somewhat like locating an issue, then trying to apply a protocol that would eventually guide the subject to fix their game, and sometimes, on rare occasions, trying to diagnose a weird issue with everything you know.
