Where to start

Featured Replies

Hello, I was just wondering if any devs on here have any information for where I should start for learning to make scripts for GTA V / lspdfr (either one I'm perfectly happy with either although I primarily want to focus on lspdfr specifically). Only thing I really have is some very basic knowledge of c# however, I'm in the process of improving my knowledge. I do apologize if this is too broad of a question. I'm just honestly pretty confused on where to get started and what the perquisites, experience levels, etc that are needed for scripting lspdfr and just gta itself. I do greatly appreciate those who take their time to read this thanks.

Hi again! 😄

I personally followed this guide which while on the old side, I found to be a good introduction.

You don't need to be too experienced, and I definetly wasn't and still have a lot to learn.

As well as, some callouts are open-sourced so if you are looking for examples, they can be useful as well; obviously not copying them.

I hope this helps & do ask any more questions if you have any.
