Black Screen and Crashing

Featured Replies

I have been looking for about 6 hours in total for a fix for this and nothing is working. When I launch GTAV through the shortcut, steam, or with rage plugin hook, once it gets to the second loading screen for the rockstar launcher it just crashes, no error code or anything like that. Just crashes.

When I launch it with the rockstar launcher, it says 'loading' for about 10 seconds and then it just says 'quitting'. If anyone has any fixes or ideas for this it would be very helpful.

What I've Tried: Uninstalling GTAV completely, clearing cache, running with administrator, updated drivers, disable firewall, uninstall and reinstall rockstar social club and launcher, verifying integrity of game files, adding and underscore before 'Rockstar Games' under the documents tab, deleting 'Rockstar Games' file from onedrive.

Thanks again if anyone finds a fix.
