so i have downloaded the newest version of lspdfr with the newest rage hook plugin and i keep getting this error message Could not hook game process. Insufficient permissions or bad anti-virus i have restarted my computer a number of times i have even uninstalled everything and reinstalled everything including the game it self iv tried things from youtube to fix it and nothing please help  

my versions lspdfr 0.4.9 build 8037

my rage hook  is  1.90 .1298 .16281 modify date 12/31/2021

Do the following
1. Load GTA 5 first. Then, once in-game, tab out and launch RPH.
2. Go into the CommandLine.txt in the Main Directory and remove everything and then add -windowed and save and exit the document. Then retry step 1. 
3. Add GTA V to the exceptions list in your anti-virus. More info on that found in #support-faq.
4. Disable any in-game overlay such as Discord, Steam, OverWolf, or GeForce Experience.

yes alot with every step

 

Do you use epic?

 

Steam.  And the game runs great with out using rage hook. But once I hit rage hook either after booting up the game or before that when all the problems start happening  running window 10 here is what happened so I before all of the issues. I was putting a mod in and drooped it in the wrong place. Went to get it out of that folder. We'll needless to say I deleted the games so I reinstalled the game. And cleaned out everything  restarted fresh. Downloaded the new lspdfr and rage hook. And that where everything went south. Can't find the old lspdfr. That I had no problems with. 

You say you downloaded the rage hook- Do you mean you downloaded the latest rage hook from the rage hook website?

As currently the latest version of rage is only included with LSPDFR (or on the RPH discord)

i download it with LSPDFR   so question  im using steam   is epic better  iv been having all kinds of issues with steam or just buy a copy for the game

are you 100% sure you've disabled all in game overlays? Like steam overlay discord etc...

yes on steam on NVidia if uninstalled it several times and each time i reinstall it gives me a new error code like need to update cant get steam to update gta5  tells me im missing folders then tells me im not authorized to use this file 

i have told them about this and they refuse to listen to me its program error with teh latest ragehook it is not you

update ]  kinda of weird i have never had this happen  but this is what o have found on trial and error so i had my game on a Toshiba hard drive  that all of my dj  music is on  i decided to move the game files from that hard drive to a western digital pass port hard drive so i didnt lose all of my music if some thing diid  happen that is where all of my problems started over the few past days i tried everything then lastnight i redownloaded everything back over to the Toshiba hard drive and everything works great again and the weird thing the western hard drive brand new out of package .  thank you to everyone that chimed in to help
