Hi all, 

I'm wondering if anyone would be able to help, I've swapped vehicles for sheriff2 but now when I enter it the game crashes. Simple native trainer also won't warp me into it and I can't enter it via the police garage either. Some advice and support would be greatly appreciated (I'm a bit new so hopefully I've attached the right document)

Have you installed any .meta files?

I used the metal files that came with the vehicle pack which is the [ELS] Los Santos PD Mega-Pack (LAPD) 4G21b 

And how did you install them? Drag & drop?

Yeah I drag and dropped the meta files and I also drag and dropped the vehicle files. All of my police vehicles are from the same pack and work with no issues.

You should never drag and drop .meta files; only copy and paste entries into your existing one.

Please remove your current .meta files, to determine if it is the issue.

If yes, then do the above. 🙂 

What would be the best way to remove the meta files? Should I edit it and delete the entry for sheriff2? Thanks so much for your help and quick replies!

No worries!

First, I would drag them to your desktop to save a copy. 

Then, delete them from your mods folder (it'll use the default ones available in your game files)
If it works, then we know they are the issue. 🙂 

It worked thank you so much! If I need to edit it in the future for another reason what would be the best way to do that now that I've deleted it from the mods folder?

So, you'd want to copy the specific entries into your existing .meta files; rather than drag and drop the file in its entirety. 😄

Hey Charlie, I need to edit the vehicle meta file to change the tint value but because I deleted it it isn't there anymore, how could I go about editing it? 

Make a copy of your vehicles.meta, and add it to your mods folder. 😄

Then edit away!

Hey Charlie, I put the vehicles meta into my mods folder and edited it but it hasn't impacted the vehicles, have I misunderstood your advice?
