Hello. I'm having a issue and it's really starting to bug me. I keep getting a error message when trying to start the game up. Would anyone know why it's happening and how to fix it. Ive waited so long to play this game and I'm very disappointed. 

Did you download the upgrade for LSPDFR that is compatible with the recent update of GTA 5?

 

Delete ScriptHookV.

If you are disappointed, read the massive banner on the forum page which clearly says it is not up to date yet.

Why did you say it's LSPDFR error? LoL the title of the error widow clearly say Script hook V critical error.. there's no mention of LSPDFR at all...

You have to wait for an update of Script hook V to be able to use it..

Remove scripthookV from your main directory, it needs updating.

 

You can use Asi Support as an alternative

Make sure Asi Support is loading as a plugin with RPH.

Thank you for the response. Unlike these other morons that would rather be smartasses then help. 

 

I just set it all up yesterday. Everything is a fresh download so if the game cannot open and scripthookv needs updating then so will everyone else with this game. 

I will try what you said though.

Because it won't let me open the game at all which is LSPDFR due to the error message. Use your brain abit mate.

It is all a fresh download. Never played it before on my pc. So Im guessing everything should be up to date.

LoL it's not LSPDFR that caused the crash it's scripthook  which is not required to run Lspdfr.. it's required by other mods or scripts. . which means that Lspdfr didn't cause any crashes it's scripthook. Has nothing to do with LSPDFR.. sorry. You lose.. lol

You, along with hundreds of others, are asking about why ScriptHookV isn't working; this is answered across the site.

Wrong.

If you deleted LSPDFR, ScriptHookV would still crash your game, because they are not related. 

I'd show a little more respect to someone who is making sure the support you receive is accurate.

We all have the problem because it isn't updated.

See now that's a much clearer answer. Thank you. It is not the literal point. You're all telling me am I sure it's updated. Well clearly if the update isn't out then how can I. 

I don't need someone correcting me on my posts. I just need a straight answer which you have now replied with.

That's not the point.. your crash wasn't caused by LSPDFR.. end of the story.. I have plenty of Scripts that rely on Script hook.. but since script hook needs an update I'm not using them at the moment.. but I'm still using LSPDFR because it doesn't need script hook to run.. your problem is caused by script Hook not LSPDFR.. omg are you really this stupid??

Tell me what the problem is and what I can do to fix it. Not reply with comments having a laugh at me because of my title. That's bit helping in my eyes. I don't know much about pc gaming that's why I'm asking. Sorry my title is accurate to exactly what's going on. Helping is telling me what can be done, not taking the piss out of me because you think your a computer wizz

Yes I am stupid with this stuff that's why I thought I would ask for help here. Do you want me to apologise for not having the correct title because I made your brain work just that little bit harder? Would that make you happy.

I don't have an issue with anyone. 

All I did was ask a simple question as to what could be wrong. 

But all I get at first is replies making out that I'm stupid and should know that it needs a update and what not. If I knew everything I wouldnt be asking for help. 

I'm completely new with the pc world. And if this is the pc community then I'm shocked.
