How many mods would be considered a little or a lot?

Featured Replies

As the title says, I wanna know how many mods is a little or a lot based on what you guys have! I wanna play LSPDFR with a minimal mod list for the sake of my own sanity when updating and to keep the game itself stable (and hopefully manage to save some space on my hard drive due to backups which I doubt I'll manage to do)

So far I managed to get a mod list of approximately 15 mods, though said mods are the essential type of ones (like Stop The Ped, Arrest Manager, KTFDO, etc) to make the game more bearable, the list itself is ridden from any vehicle mods and cosmetic mods (ELS, EUP, etc), with them it'll probably go well over 20+ (probably would be around 20-40 mods in total).

For me 10-20 is a decent amount of mods. Updates shouldn't be an issue with that amount of mods. I don't consider vehicles as mods, this includes els and anything else related to vehicle controls (Manual transmission, blinkers, trunk controls, etc), due to the fact that most updates to either GTA or LSPDFR wont break them. 20-40 is a large amount of mods to update each time. If you really want ease of use, stick to a specific version of lspdfr and only update on either bug fixes or once most of your mods have updated to a new massive update to lspdfr.

I see, I appreciate your answer! I'm a little confused on the whole "updating your game/LSPDFR" thing so I'm trying to slowly learn it, also regarding your last part about sticking to a specific version of LSPDFR that could definitely help so thank you!
