add on car wont use correct siren id

hey you guys. so I used a replacement texture for the sheriff cruiser to create an add on vehicle based on the original sheriff cruisers data meaning that I copied all the needed text files from the game files. now the car itself works just fine but somehow the game simply wont use the siren id (id 13 for police/sheriff). this will result in my car using the ambulance siren which of course is not what I want. I tried so many different things now but simply cant get it to work. any help would be much appreciated
