LSPDFR Script Glitchy In GTA V

Featured Replies

So I got the newest version of LSPDFR a few days ago and installed it in my GTA V Steam folder. I had already previously had the asi loader and the simple trainer in the folder (for those who ask about other mods I'm running). I got LSPDFR to work and show the police stations and such. However, the whole thing seems a little buggy and not working correctly. I get a call out and join the pursuit, and eventually get the suspect to stop their car. I take them down (hold E). However, right then is about when the current call out ends. I can't call a transport to come get the suspect, as it says I have no suspects. I get constant pursuits ending up with the victim dead, and the pursuit doesn't end, and still shows suspect red dot on map even though he's dead. I've had to reload the scripts several times to fix these glitches and go back to PD station to go back on duty. I changed the script command key (the F4 console) to use F3, but still used F4. I changed it back to F4 the other day. The only gripe was that hitting F4 caused the simple trainer menu to appear, so had to hit escape key to exit the trainer. But yeah it seems buggy. Anyone else have this issue? Is there a fix for it? Should I remove the simple trainer to fix these glitches?

If you are installing LSPDFR 0.4 for the first time, we strongly recommend that you do so on a clean copy of Grand Theft Auto V without any other mods or plugins.

Do you install LSPDFR on a clean copy?Do you install LSPDFR on a clean copy?

Your symptoms:

  • I can't call a transport to come get the suspect, as it says I have no suspects.
  • I get constant pursuits ending up with the victim dead, and the pursuit doesn't end, and still shows suspect red dot on map even though he's dead.
  •  I changed the script command key (the F4 console) to use F3, but still used F4

Answers & Questions:

  • What system did you use to call transport? Stop The Ped? Arrest Manager? or LSPDFR?
  • Is the minimap still flashing? Was the pursuit concluded? If not, have you tried to terminate it?
  • Did you directly edit the config file in order to change keys?

Supporting is somewhat like locating an issue, then trying to apply a protocol that would eventually guide the subject to fix their game, and sometimes, on rare occasions, trying to diagnose a weird issue with everything you know.

1) Used built in lspdfr to call transport. Believe default button is "B".

2) Minimap was still flashing. Pursuit claimed it was finished as the "B" menu showed nothing I could do because no active suspects. Police heli was still flying around and flashing too. I've had to terminate several pursuits and callouts this way, due to pursuit ending too soon or whatever it is.

3) No, I don't believe I directly edited the config file to change keys. I changed it upon opening LSPDFR, and it prompted which key I wanted to use. Upon checking the config files after finding out the config key issue, saw it still showed F4 by default for LSPDFR. However, my config for the trainer now showed it as the F3 key instead of F4, even though LSPDFR prompted me about its terminal console being the F4 key.

  • Did you use LSPDFR to arrest the ped too?
  • Does this happen on every callout and also ambient pursuits like pressing B to call in pursuit when spotted a car thief?
  • Console is RPH feature - did you change the RPH config?

So with 1) I found out how to transport suspects. I didn't realize I had to put them on the ground first in order to call a transport in.

1) Yes. And figured that out now too.

2) Not every callout, but several of them do end up that way. Currently playing it now to give it another test run. So far haven't had any dead peds and callout still going on.

3) No, I don't think I changed the config. Will have to do that and possibly get rid of the simple trainer so I don't have 2 trainers in game.

Think I no longer need this thread open. Everything seems to be ok. However, I can't get all weapons from the trainer. GTA V crashes when I do that. Not sure why. Possibly LSPDFR noticing guns that cops "shouldn't" have and crashes. Everything else seems to be ok now.
