A lot of callout make game crash?

Featured Replies

I want to know if I install many callout plugin, Will it make LSPDFR crash?

Because I played about 20-30 minute and LSPDFR crashed but game was normally.

It might.

  • Game allocates somewhat a very small amount (but enough most times) to scripts and also plugins, and a part of this memory was consumed by RPH, and then LSPDFR (since LSPDFR is very huge and complicated).
  • Also plugins might not work well with each other.
  • Plugins themselves can be unstable, for instance:
    • Bad unmanaged resources handling, causes the LSPDFR or game to crash.
    • Bad thread management, putting unnecessary blocking methods (for example, file access, networking, unnecessary calculation) on game fibers instead of other independent managed threads.
    • Running out of memory.
  • LSPDFR could took too long to process the game tick (blocking main thread) causing RPH to terminate LSPDFR.
  • Heavy obfuscations like the one Bejoljo used could slow down ticking, as obfuscation might add useless code to confuse or slowdown reverse engineers.

How many plugins can be installed to your instances depends on several factors, including but not limited to your system, your computer, RAM amount available, , and how many entities, how many RPH plugins running, how many SHV and SHVDN scripts running, etc.

Supporting is somewhat like locating an issue, then trying to apply a protocol that would eventually guide the subject to fix their game, and sometimes, on rare occasions, trying to diagnose a weird issue with everything you know.
