To be clear. I normally use ELS but have some nonels models I want to use. I do understand how to change model names and add in carvariations and such. I do not understand if or where the resource.lua file goes. Ive watched every video and read each post and it never is explained. So I take my model and put in Albio modding folder. Then I take the data files and add them to their respective folders via the modding folder from Albio. I can spawn model but lights are suspended by model or just dont work. Again there is never a explanation in the how to vids or post as to where and if the resoucre.lua needs to be added for a SP GTAV version. Does having ELS installed cause conflict to nonels cars? Again I know the difference and am not trying to make a nonels els thats stupid, I am just trying to add in a non els and play. Watched 6 vids, no mention of where data files go, they just drop the models in to the patchdays no different than an els model they just dont have a vcf..

Or is the reasource.lua for 5m purposes and I dont need to add anywhere in SP

I'm assuming you've figured this out based on your rep level.

To you, resource.lua files are only to be used on FiveM. To install a non-els FiveM car, just drag the vehicle files into the latest patchday. Reference this for more help:
