GTA 4 Lag and ultimate crash !!!

Featured Replies

Hey everyone, so for the past few weeks I have been noticing that Grand Theft Auto 4 (the 2020 Complete Edition) lags a lot...…I do have quite a few mods installed. So, exactly what I face is that the game tends to first lag like hell after 5 or 10 minutes of continuous play and then crashes without any errors. It just shuts it down. Is there any other way to fix this problem without the removal of mods (I really want them all) ?? I ran the benchmark test and the results were as follows:

Statistics
Average FPS: 29.08
Duration: 36.86 sec
CPU Usage: 65%
System memory usage: 49%
Video memory usage: 9%

Graphics Settings
Video Mode: 1366 x 768 (60 Hz)
Texture Quality: Medium
Shadow Quality: Medium
Reflection Resolution: Medium
Water Quality: Medium
Texture Filter Quality: Anisotropic x4
Night Shadows: Off
View Distance: 40
Detail Distance: 40

Hardware
Microsoft Windows 10 Pro

Video Adapter: AMD Radeon R5 Graphics
Video Driver version: 24.20.11001.26002
Audio Adapter: Speakers (Conexant SmartAudio HD)
AMD A10-9600P RADEON R5, 10 COMPUTE CORES 4C+6G

Also, as you might have noticed that GTA 4 utilizes only 9% of my VRAM (if I am not mistaken), is there any way to increase this usage.

I am a noob. Please help me. Thanks 😛

Hey,

Pease list every mod you use and on which game version you play (for example 1.0.7.0)

also post all relevant logs (LCPDFR.log, Scripthook.log, ScriptHookDotNet.log, AdvancedHook.log). Located in your main GTA IV folder.

also post you commandline.txt if you use any. Located in your main GTA IV folder.
