I don't know why, but I try to load RPH, then shortly after I get a pop up saying critical error, then the supported game versions are listed below. Is there a problem with Script Hook V, or is it something else? I also included my RPH log.RagePluginHook.log Thanks.

I believe the game is already up to date, because when I checked steam it said last updated March 31st, unless there's another update.

Since you're getting that error and your Rage log says your game is out of date, I don't think it's up to date.

The game version is 1.0.2245.0 is that out of date? If it is how do I update it because on Steam there is no option to update.

Your Log says, that you have an older game version(1.0.2060.1) and Rage Plugin Hook version (v1.81.1410.16064) make sure both are up to date

also, could you include your ScriptHookV.log if the problem remains (make sure it is as well on the newest version)

I verified the files, and it still has the same issue.

 

Have you updated update.rpf using OpenIV?

Remove Playgtav.exe and GTA5.exe then re verify.

No, how do I update it? And also does it delete the mods, if so is there a way to not delete them?

If you open "OpenIV" and activate the edit mode, it will tell you if you need to update your update.rpf.

 

If you made any changes in your C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\\mods\update\update.rpf they will be overwritten (So you would need to redo all changes you made in the update.rpf file)

 

No other file will be affected by the update.

I did that, and it said something like, "Copy new version of update.rpf" , so I did that, and still has the same error when loading.

Just to check, have you already installed the latest version of Script Hook V and RPH? The best way to check your GTA version is through GTA5.exe > Properties > Details. Anything other than 1.0.2245.0 means that it hasn't been updated correctly.

Yes the game is that version, and I redownloaded Script Hook V, and RPH multiple times.

Could you try to launch RPH again and post a new log?

I can't get a new log for some reason, I tried loading RPH and still can't get a log after.

That's odd. You should be able to see the log each time it runs.

 

The error message you get is caused when Script Hook V is not compatible with the GTA version, most commonly when GTA is updated but Script Hook is not. The latest Script Hook is compatible, so I can't see why you would be getting that message if you have the latest versions installed.

 

Try renaming your mods folder to '_mods' and launch the game again.

I tried renaming the mods folder too, and it still doesn't work. Also where would I have to change the name on File Explorer or Open IV?
