Is it possible to stop the map from changing to what LSPDFR uses? I have a mod that changes MRPD and whenever LSPDFR loads it breaks the station and I can't use it.

    It should be fine with the mod, because mine works correctly. Your mod is not correctly done because it lacks support of DLC MRPD map.

    LSPDFR will only work correctly if the map mod based on the original Heists DLC MRPD map and retains the original structure.

    Supporting is somewhat like locating an issue, then trying to apply a protocol that would eventually guide the subject to fix their game, and sometimes, on rare occasions, trying to diagnose a weird issue with everything you know.

    so would I need to rename the mod files and replace what's in the heist dlc file?

    No. That will mess up your game completely. Just don't use that mod.
