LSPDFR keeps crashing while going on duty, even when installed proven good back ups.

 

Any help would be much appreciated!

From the crash logs, you will need to reinstall LSPD First Response manually (means via Manual Install Package). If you have anything in lspdfr/data/custom, remove anything in it before your reinstall, because it suggests that your LSPDFR data might be damaged.

The issue isn't coming from LSPDFR data for sure, but rather an XML file.

@9615DELTAHave you edited any XML files?

I mean im sure i have somewhere, do you mean XML flies inside the LSPDFR folder itself?

In lspdfr/data, there is bunch of XML files. Here is a short list of:

• agency.xml
• backup.xml
• regions.xml
• stations.xml
• duty_selection.xml

And, do you have anything in the custom folder?

You can attempt to remove Tacco Highway Call-outs, and see what happens.

Only Agency and Duty Selections so my Cruisers spawn but ive never had an issue with it them before. Will delete Taco callsouts and give that a try, also did do the manual reinstall of LSPDFR itself (but kept my 2 modded files) and still crashed.

@Charlie686  @RelaperCrystal So ive uninstalled and reinstalled LSPDFR and deleted Taco Callouts and still crashes. But if i ReloadAllPlugins and ForceDuty it will late me plat for a bit but then freeze or glitch out. Heres another Log from today:

@9615DELTA It is your plugins. And, don't reloadallplugins; Just LoadPlugin "LSPD First Response.dll" So you get only LSPDFR loaded.

Try to move all LSPDFR plugins from your plugins/LSPDFR folder to another folder which is away from the game folder.

 

When editing XML files in the future, use VSCode (or any other code editor you like) with a XML extension that has verify feature.

The issue is still coming from an XML file. Maybe the exception message will help:

Exception message: '<' is an unexpected token. The expected token is '>'. Line 554, position 5.

We don't know it came from what XML. It is triggered from Functions.OnOnDutyStateChanged event, which is from the API.

It could be GrammerPolice, it could be some other plug-in.

I know, but the exception message outlines what the error is.

I didnt add any custom phrases. Will RE and RE Grammar Police and update. I appreciate all the help guys! @RelaperCrystal @Charlie686

Ive isolated the issue to Ultimate BackUp, @Charlie686 was right with the XML file, it was my DefaultRegion XML inside Ultimate Backup.
