Difficulty Launching LSPDFR via Rage Plugin Hook

Featured Replies

Hi! Really looking forward to giving LSPDFR a try. I have been having some trouble getting it to start, and feel I have exhausted my options trying to find a solution through carefully following the installation instructions or by watching videos on YouTube.

I bought GTA V from Steam and have 20+ hours of gameplay saved. I manually installed LSPDFR and then updated the Rage Plugin Hook to match the current game version.

When I open Rage Plugin Hook and view the Plugins tab, I have "LSPD First Response" checked to load on startup. If I click "Save and Launch", the game will open but it seems to be the vanilla version with no active plugins. I have tried to Alt-Tab out of the window to see what Rage Plugin Hook is doing, and it gets stuck saying "Launching game via Steam..."

In short, I launch the game via Rage Plugin Hook – and I believe I have LSPDFR installed correctly – but it just launches the game normally as if I've opened it through Steam.

I hope I am not missing something terribly obvious!
