Progressing the game with mods...

If I play SP GTA V normally with LSPDFR installed will my game become corrupt? I wouldn't be running it through RPH just the normal GTA V launcher. I also have a mods folder installed to help keep vanilla game safe. I just wanted to check because I played LSPDFR once and saved my game while playing it and corrupted my files, but if I played the game not through RPH like I did last time, I'm wondering if it will keep the game from getting corrupt. This way I can play vanilla GTA V and LSPDFR without corrupting any files. I want to do this so that I can get more houses and money into LSPDFR without corrupting both files. All help is GREATLY appreciated! 😄
