Gta v crashes on loading screen, returns to desktop after trying to install new updates of script hook v and rage plugin hook, and some basic plugins.

 

error message created by rage says no plugins ticked at time of crash

 

any ideas?

You can either delete the mods folder (If you do this all your cars, EUP, guns, peds that you changed will get deleted but this will open the game again not 100% but its most likely) or take a screenshot of your DLC, packs and post it here.

No. Do not do that.

 

In regards to your crash please rename your mods folder to _mods

And to confirm, have you updated your mods folder because of the update?

I was able to redownload the game and lspdfr (manual install).

Also added emergency lighting system successfully. 

Changed mods folder to _mods 

(It was a new mods folder)

Added a replacement vic for police slot, which is working. 

The issue happens after adding addon vehicles ( I've tried 3 different ones)

Unable to add any addon police cars without the game crashing at the end of the gtav loading screen.

Actually changing the mods folder name erased the vic in police slot

 

I changed the name back to mods

 

And the replacement crown vic is back again. 

 

Should I start a new topic about addon cars?
