Help me understand gradual texture loss

Featured Replies

excuse my lack of programming knowledge.

I know that having many high quality replaced vehicles accelerates gradual texture loss. But why is it gradual?  why is it slowly eating more memory the more i play in a session?

I've read that it's because the high number of vehicles that eventually spawn. But shouldn't there also be a way to despawn them again? like clearing a cache or something?

Thanks.

There is something called "memory overload", High Quality vehicles and texture eat your memory the more you play during the session. Usually each of these vehicles use about 20 MB of your memory, so the more you play, the more vehicles spawn, the more memory gets used.

I really enjoy playing LSPD:FR, and I've been playing since LCPD:FR was released.
