not sure if i posted this in the right place and i did a search first on this but can up with nothing on this site on how to edit the file. i was just wondering how do you edit the visualSettings.dat for ELS lights? do i need special software?

i dont have eflc so i dont have that tbogt folder.

i tried editing that visualSetting.dat file in notepad and when i change that numbers in there to what i want it at and then click save i get an error message saying. cannot create the c:\program files\rockstar games\grand theft auto iv\common\data\visualsetting.dat file. make sure that the path or file name is correct. am i doing something wrong?

Hmm....What numbers are you changing? Is it "other emissive lights"?

Yes. I finally figured it out I had to go into properties and set the security to full access on each user. Thanks for everyone's help
