Hey everyone,

 

I hope you can help me with this problem. Whenever I change a file in the data section of update.rpf, for example, change the engine sound in vehicles.meta, or visualsettings.dat or dlclist.xml, or any file for that matter, my game crashes and for the life of me, I can't figure out what the problem is. So i check the RPH log, but there is none!, this is the latest log that rph created.  Also when I delete the mods folder and put in a clean one, LSPDFR and all my mods load up fine, but as soon as I change anything in the data section, the game crashes.

yeah I did but even that doesn't work

yeah, I got it all, packlimit file adjuster, asi, GTAV Heapadjuster, I mean it was all working fine until I changed the vehicle sound for the fbi

You are probably editing the meta file incorrectly if it crashes on startup.

Make sure to not leave accidental indents/spaces
