ELS not working

Featured Replies

Hello, so my ELS lights aren't working. I recently had to completely reset my mods folder because my game kept crashing due to a corrupt car file however the issue was still happening before that as well. My cruise and scene lights both work but the modes1,2,and 3 all aren't working. what I mean by not working is that when I enter any of the modes it beeps and shows on the ELS controller I'm in the selected mode but no lights flash on any of my vehicles. I thought it might have been my mods folder but the issue is still persistent. I haven't edited the ELS.ini at all it just stopped working.

Could you try using different VCF files for the models you are having issues with?

That's the thing, ELS works with none of the models I have which is a boat load. It doesn't work with addons or replacement cars. I thought it might be a corrupted VCF file as well and added one car at a time and still nothing.

The models themselves load in just fine but none of the VCFs that come with any of them work. I've tried about 20 or so different models in different replacement slots since re-doing my mods folder and I have yet to find a model whose lights work in any replacement slot.

In OpenIV, go to ASI Manager and uninstall ASI Loader and OpenIV.ASI

Then click install again to reinstall them.

Once that is done restart your PC and see if it makes a difference

Will do. Here's 2 more screenshots with a different model.

Well Dumbledore taught me a few things - one of them being how to fix ELS 😜

Have fun!
