Hi,

I recently deleted my old GTA5 installs that used LSPDFR as they were now outdated, and installed a fresh copy of the game. It can open and run fine on its own. However, any time I go to launch Rage Pluginhook it brings me to the Social Club launcher and begins to say "This is taking longer than usual...". The game will boot up fine, but Rage will not ever hook to the game. I assume it has something to do with the Rockstar Social Club launcher. I have tried many times to find a place that has a fix for this, but I cannot manage to find a solution. I would love to post my Ragehook log, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how. Does anyone have some solutions for me? Any response would be appreciated. 

Load GTAV normally until the siren loading screen. Then ALT + TAB out and open RAGE and let it hook.

I appreciate the help but unfortunately, this does not do the trick. When I try to do so, it tells me that an instance of gta5 is already running. I believe it has something to do with it trying to boot the game up on its own instead of just booting up rage. Is there something else I can try to fix this?

 

Okay update, I cannot believe my stupid self did not attempt this, but running the program as admin allows me to hook rage to the application and everything runs fine. I appreciate the help very much, have a great day!
