What a time to join up and want to start playing this. IVE been watching RP for a while on youtube etc and absolutely want to RP a police officer with indepth realism so I found this place. OF all times to install and start playign etc. I CANT because of this update lol. Sigh. I hope its fixed quickly so i can start.

Also, can you someone explain how this works? Can anyone be an officer or is there an application training etc etc? is this a specific private server for LSPDFR? Or is this a single player mode with the mod? if its NOT single player on average how many people play on the server? and if this is just a police mod is everyone just an officer?

Michael

Hi Michael! I'm on a similar boat as you - I wanted to play LSPDFR but downloaded GTA V again just when the update came so I didn't even have a backup for previous game! 🙂

But no worries there. LSPDFR team is doing a great job as always on getting the update on their side out.

LSPDFR is a single player mod so it is not a server that you join. Different script add Police related functionality but the main functionality will come from LSPDFR which will create the opportunity for you to go on duty as a police office in the game.

As there have been a lot of changes from the time I started 2 years back I've gone over different mods that i'm planning on installing when the update for LSPDFR arrives. Here's my list. Put your time into downloading them (Google the names. Some are here some are on some other sites). These mods will give you more scenarios to play as well as inhance the experience you will get as a police officer in the game - searching people, questioning them, court system etc.

Better EMS (not at first)
Callout manager (not at first)
+Compulite (must have!)
+Interaction+ (must have!)
+Stop the ped (must have!) (Maybe without Interaction+? Seems better)
Police smart radio (not that important but might be fun)
+Ultimate backup (seems fun)
Keep calm mod (maybe if i see a need for it)
EUP Law & Order
+ALPR lite (this is fun as well!)

Required further:
    CompuLite
        +Stop the ped
        +Ultimate backup

And here is a list of callouts i'm using:

For that you need the FiveM launcher 🙂 go check out some details for it here: https://fivem.net/

Hope this isn't considered as advertising. Sorry if it is.

But to be a Police Officer on some better RP servers you will have to know pretty well how to RP and have experience there + apply and be accepted as an officer as well. So it will not happen sometimes even within many weeks.

Meanwhile it is a great idea to get some Police experience in single player as many actions overlap with MP.
