Launching a Downgraded GTA 5?

Featured Replies

So it's that time again when everyone is frustrated that Rockstar are pushing updates for GTA: Online and breaking everyone's LSPDFR. And I'm now in a predicament where I cannot get RAGE to launch despite having a backup.

I've watched an array of videos on YouTube, all conveniently with trap intro music and starting off with "yo, yo, yo it's ya boy" but alas, none of them worked. And I outright refuse to download anything from a YouTube description. I've tried launching RAGE whilst Steam is offline but then Steam moans it cannot verify my CD Key despite me having 800 hours in-game and then when I'm online and downgrade, Rockstar Launcher complains that the game files are corrupt and I need to verify obviously implying its not up-to-date.

It leads me to my question, can I even launch a downgraded version anymore or has R* Launcher just stopped this from being possible? I can be patient, but I also really want to play because I'm addicted, lmao.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. Stay safe my guys and gyals.
