Hello everyone. My rage hook plugins shuts down without any error and I don't understand why. This has been happening more frequently now and I cannot seem to understand why. I downloaded a fresh game again and reinstalled plugins again. The game worked fine for a day and now I am encountering the same problem. I have not modded any vehicles this time. The game just has plugins and callouts. Any help or suggestions will be great. Thanks

In the RAGE settings set it to load no plugins on startup.

Then load LSPDFR through the RAGE console and if it crashes send a new log!

Hello. I have set the rage value to 60000ms and checked no plugins on startup. Same results. The game loads like normal with no errors then when it gets to "populating game world line," it freezes and shuts down back to my desktop.

Can you try and play GTAV normally without loading it through RAGE?

Good point. I tried twice and I get the same results. The game shuts down and puts me back on the desktop.

Rename your mods folder to _mods and see if the issue still persists!

Hey. I renamed the folder to _mods and still have the same results. rage plugin and single player through steam do the same thing. Pretty annoying I know.

Well as the game doesn't load with RAGE or by itself we know the issue is most likely with the game files.

 

You may have made edits in the game files using OpenIV - even if you haven't try verifying your game files 🙂

I figured. the only thing I have edited mostly with this problem is ini files. I believe I have and idea where it may be causing this corruption. since I have backed up the original game files, I deleted everything off of steam and I am starting fresh. I believe my problem is within open iv when I add the package installer modding dlc for vehicles. I will confirm in an hour or so as the game files are finishing the transfer.

So I believe I found the problem. I believe its the modding dlc pack inside open iv. The game runs great with most of my plugins(still missing 5 more to be sure). Once I start to put vehicles in the modding folder, the game doesn't load and causes this crash. I will keep updating with more info on my findings.
