Hi

I just recently installed LSPDFR and some other plugins from BejoIjo and the game was working fine. After downloading ELS and installing exactly as specified the game would freeze either when loading LSPDFR or going on duty. I'm confident it's to do with els because I've tried using different els cars and also when I remove els the game works fine again. I read that advancedhookV was dodgy so I removed that and there was no freeze but obviously ELS didn't work.

 

ELS works fine when I'm not on duty.

 

All the notepad logs looked fine except for the Easy Hook one which I've attached.

I forgot to add that when I installed it the first time I was able to go on duty for a few minutes with els working. When I pulled someone over the game froze and every subsequent time I haven't been able to go on duty at all. My thought is that maybe it was corrupted from that first crash?

Add ELS and its relevant files back into the game then attach your "RagePluginHook" log - a text document found in your main directory 🙂

Try the following:

• Removing Traffic Policer - it is out of date
• Increase your Plugin Timeout Threshold to 60,000 - this can be done in the RAGE settings
• Clearing your commandline - a text document found in your main directory

Even if we find Traffic Policer isn't causing this issue I strongly advise you remove out of date plugins as they can cause crashes and create system instability.

I did all of this and went through and updated a couple of out of date plugins. Everything is now up to date but it's still freezing.

You seem to be having some permission issues. Make sure to make the GTAV folder an exception to your antivirus + Windows Defender 🙂

I gave the game root full permissions and an exclusion in windows defender but that message still came up.

I just tried it without ELS again by removing advancedhookV and it still works fine.

Let's try something different. 

 

Go into the game without RAGE and see if it loads. 

If it does then try to get into a ELS vehicle and see if it works

The game works without rage. I can get into the ELS car but ELS doesn't work.

ELS should work without RAGE and LSPDFR.

 

Make sure you added it back in (if you hadn't)

 

I'm heading offline but I'd do a fresh install of ELS and then if it still doesn't work attach your ScriptHookV log (located in your main directory)

Ok so I tried installing a different car model and it turns out that was the issue the whole time. LSPDFR and ELS now work perfectly. I guess the 2019 Charger model (ELS) I used must be dodgy or something.

Who would have thought!
