How to disable ambient suspect encounter? (FIXED)

Featured Replies

So i have spent about two days trying to trace this issue and I've come to no conclusion. I've deleted all my callouts and even went into the LSPDFR.ini to disable ambient events and still for some reason whenever I go on duty still spawns. I see in the command line that a suspect encounter is created and its a lady named Whitney Hodges on some motorcycle. She for some reason always spawns like every 5 minutes and constantly interrupts my traffic stops or scene because I automatically join a pursuit with her and it completely messes everything up. I dont know what else to do and If someone knows how to stop this ambient AI from spawning I would like to know how.

I just realized that I actually fixed this issue on a seperate topic a long time ago.

Hiya!

Thanks for trying to resolve it yourself - it saves us a lot of time 🙂

In the lspdfr ini file find this line and set it to true: Ambient.DisableEscapedSuspectEncounter = true

Hope this helps : D

Hey! I actually tried this and it didnt work but I just set the  Ambient.EscapedSuspectEncounterInterval to 0 so im gonna see if maybe the 45 second interval is the culprit to this issue.

Best of luck!

Yeah it didnt work, Maybe its traffic policer? it does spawn event events but i've never had an ambient event like this one from traffic policer.

Could be. Try removing it

So i removed essentially everything and it must be the LSPDFR.ini itself. I just dont know what else in the ini to turn off because I turned off the ambient disable whatever and that didnt work, I turned off the counter for ambient events and that didnt work. Im just out of ideas right now.
