Custom FiveM Siren

Featured Replies

Not sure if this is the right forum to post this on, so correct me if I'm wrong.

Does anybody know how I can make a FiveM ready / RESIDENT file for myself, or if you know anybody who is good at making sirens?

I'm not sure how to make sirens FiveM ready but all the sirens by bakerxgooty are high quality https://www.lcpdfr.com/profile/376894-bakerxgooty/content/?type=downloads_file

Thats why I made this post.  I reached out to him prior to making this post because his profile said he makes custom sirens for people.  Upon messaging him, he told me he doesn't do stuff for this website anymore and doesn't make sirens.  So I figured I'd ask people if anybody else makes them.  The one specific carson siren I'm looking to get is not made by him and I can't find it anywhere on this site.

I wasn't aware he retired from making sirens, I guess he was getting bored of people stealing his work.

I do know the basics of siren making but I'm not too good at it. You'll want to find audio either on the Carson website or a demo on youtube that you like, from there download it and open them in an audio editor of some kind. After that you'll need to cut them down to a point where you like the loop, if you don't like the pitch or if its too quiet or anything like that you can use effects to change that. The hardest part will really just be editing it to be just right once you're in game but in the end it is worth it.

File names for putting it in game would be these:
Airhorn: "AIRHORN_EQD"
Wail: "SIREN_PA20A_WAIL"
Yelp: "SIREN_2"
Phaser: "POLICE_WARNING"
I'm not sure how FiveM works but if you have a fourth tone to use that would usually be "AMBULANCE_WARNING"

As for making it FiveM ready, I think there's something you have to do with the resident.rpf but I'm not sure on that

If you don't know how to add files to vehicles.awc it goes like this:
In OpenIV navigate to the awc and select "export to openformats (.oac)
Select a folder to export to, it will add a vehicles folder and oac there
Add the files to the folder that just got created
Move the oac into OpenIV and it will convert it to an awc
