when i open rage plugin it starts up but gta v may or may not load vanilla following a message that says "rage plugin hook couldnt launch gta please check game data" and i cant find RagePluginHook.log i searched my entire c drive and couldnt find it. is it called something else through steam

Can you confirm the game loads without RAGE?

yes it loads gta v(without rage) with no problem if i open through the gta v icon or through the rage icon, also still loads vanilla but i can still go through options of rage

Just to make sure not just to the menu but actually into the game after clicking story mode?

 

If you have an RPH log attach it.

It is a text document called "RagePluginHook" found in your GTAV directory

yes it loads into story mode no prob and the only text files in gtaV folder are

commandline.txt

debug.log

reference.txtReadme.txtsteam_appid.txtRPH_Readme.txt

Could you attach a screenshot of your main directory?

See if you can launch GTA itself to at least the intro screen then alt-tab out and launch RPH

yeah it says error gta v already running

Are you using EPIC or Steam?

You should always be able to launch it when the siren plays
