RPH Crashing on startup

Featured Replies

I'm sorry i wanted to say LSPDFR folder to _LSPDFR, inside the Plugins folder not Plugins to _Plugins

It shouldn't be a mods folder problem because the game runs fine without RAGE.

Okay, but there are plugins like some vehicles or weapons that work separately from LSPDFR, so they're also created to work in addition to GTA and regardless of LSPDFR, so if any of these crashes, it can affect LSPDFR as well. In fact, there is no information in the register about the crash

You've proved Jeff's point. As they work in addition to GTAV (which we have established runs fine) the game is not causing this issue.

Incase the above does not work can you go into the RAGE settings and do the following:

  • Set RAGE to load no plugins on startup. Then see if the game loads with RAGE. I want to fully make sure plugins aren't causing this issue

It is a problem in the mods folder, the plugins loaded fine.

My plugins loaded fine on startup, so it's my mods folder.

If it is your mods folder the game should run with it disabled (when it is renamed to _mods)

Can you confirm this?

I can confirm.

Great!

Here are your options:

  • Revert your changes
  • Find the file causing the issue and replace it with a vanilla copy
  • Last resort - Start afresh

Any questions let me know!

I found the problem, it was the Chicago PD DLC pack! That is the last thing I would have thought of.
