Crashes on start up

Featured Replies

New to LSPDFR, my game seems to load in the rageplugin but then crashes immediately. Below is my attachment from rage.

Spoiler

RagePluginHook.logThing I've tried to help eliminate ay confusions of what I have and haven't done.

1. I've reinstalled GTA more than once and LSPDFR did run correctly upon doing so. However, anytime I was trying to do the Radiance V download the game would crash.

2. Same as above, this time I didn't do the Radiance V download with the ELS option and of course the lights were hardly visible.

3. Same as above however, this time I went with a non-ELS vehicle option and then my game crashed.

  • Okay. The issue isn't to do with the game but rather your plugins. Can you open the RAGE settings and set it to not load plugins on startup. Only try and load it LSPDFR once you are in the game

Hi there. Could you be more specific of what this log is. Is it with Radiance V installed?

Could you explain your 3rd point? You installed a non ELS vehicle then your game crashed?

Sure so I had tried multiple ways to avoid the game crash. I’ve uninstalled GTA v and LSPDFR a couple times. I believed what was initially causing my crash was the radiance V. So I downloaded a fresh version of GTA V and LSPDFR. I tried using a non-ELS police vehicle download. And now my game keeps crashing

So this isn't with Radiance V installed?

Which Patchday are you installing the vehicle into?

No this isn't with radiance V installed. I used patchday 22

Could you confirm the path to that folder?

Sure, I deleted the vehicle I tried adding but below is the path.

OPENIV, GTAV, mods, update, x64, dlspacks, patchday22ng, dlc.rpf, x64, levels, gta5 and vehicles.rpf

Looks good. Can you rename your mods folder to _mods so we are certain the issue is in there?

I am now, running it with elevated permissions also

Could you send your RPH log - I want to make sure it is to do with the game rather than your plugins

yeah I think it's possibly my plugins but I don't have any plugins besides LSPDFR

Is that the RPH you were mentioning? I'm new to all of this but I would assume so based off the nomenclature of the file.

Hard to say from this log. What were you doing when this issue appeared? I believe you installed the vehicle correctly. Try and load the game without RAGE and see if it works!

I was playing the game like normal before I wanted to load a non-ELS vehicle.

Try that!

I am now, how do you bring up that menu? I'm new to all of this on the PC

I downloaded the trainer and put it into the GTA V folder to help clarify. I just don't know how spawn a vehicle in.

Do you not have a native trainer installed? If not we can do it old school. Have a look at some police stations and see if you can see the vehicle
