It keeps crashing even after reinstalling it

LSPDFR seems to be denied access to the stats.dat file in GTAV/LSPDFR

 

I would check the file isn't set to read only and if that doesn't work reinstall stat.dat by taking another copy from the manual install.

In your GTAV main directory go to the lspdfr folder and it should be there!

 

Right, I have just dealt with this issue so here is what has to be done:

 

• First, this file can not be seen in the manual install so do not do that
• I am unsure of what causes this issue but the only workaround is a fresh install

Get the manual install and do the following:

 

1. Make a backup of any changes you have made such as the keys.ini/lspdfr.ini folder or the data folder (if you have edited agency.xml etc..)
2.  Drag and drop everything from the manual install except Ragepluginhook (a newer version is out) and the plugins folder (with all your callouts)

Yes but I can only download the 7529 version there is no other versions displayed

Exception message: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

 

Try to restart your pc and make an exception of the game from your antivirus. Check if your pc haven't installed some antivirus "automatically", because they are virus and will create problem in the system. If the problem persist disable also Windows Defender.

 

If this steps didn't resolve th quest try to clean your GTA 5 folder and if you didn't resolve it try also to disable Games Overlay from Nvidia Geforce Experience

This is not the case - you still are using an old LSPDFR version which is not compatible with the latest GTA V version. Did you not update it?

How do I update it ?

 

Get the LSPDFR manual install and copy LSPD First response.dll/.pdb into your GTAV/LSPDFR folder to replace the previous out of date ones

Now it works but it makes the game freeze

 

and it says "Released 0 entities from DefaultContentManager
