crash when going on duty, character select conflict?

Featured Replies

the other day i installed eup and eup menu and everything was still working great last night when i finished playing, but when i launch today i got repeated fatal crashes in the black loading screen and. then i realize that there was probably a conflict between lspdfr and eup because when i made my eup character i just gave him the same name as the character  made for lspdfr ( i know, stupid, but it causing a conflict didn't occur to me) so i replaced the eup plugin folder with a fresh one and "fixed it a little". i could load into the game as my lspdfr character, but would get fatal crashes when going on duty, i deleted the lspdfr character load in as franklin go to the police station go on duty, fatal crash.  i have attached my crash log for anyone who understands them.

i copied my rph crash log into notepad because they werent showing up in the log folders in my directory

rph crash log.txt

What I would try is,

#1.) Load into the game, after doing so. Press "Esc (or "P") for the in-game menu. (With LSPDFR Running but not attempted on Duty)

#2.) Go to the LSPDFR Tab in the menu and select "Switch Character" see if you have one there, and try to use one of those.

It may just not know which character you're trying to use. I didn't notice anything out of the normal after LSPDFR was loaded besides it loading EUP and LSPDFR. Also try get this file edit if you haven't already

let me know if any of the suggestions above worked.

i will try that that but it shouldn't have any characters to choose from, because my first thought was the eup character was causing it so i replaced the whole eup plugin folder with a fresh one, and that got me passed the loading screens and i could load in as my original lspdfr guy but would crash if i went on duty so so deleted him as well.

it takes me to the lspdfr character select/create menu and crashes even if i choose an lspdfr preset.

Well you do have a few plugins. I'd start by making sure they're all up to date, Bejoljo just updated a couple of his plugins. When LSPDFR crashes when you go on duty that usually means a dependent plugin is causing issues. Or some modded file that's only accessed while on duty. (files inside your LSPDFR folder in the main directory) I would start removing plugins one at a time to find out if any of those are a problem. If none of that works. Redo your LSPDFR folder in the main game directory. Grand Theft Auto/lspdfr/ there could be an edit preventing it from working properly.
