PoliceOld 1/2 CarVar

I have a slicktop FPIS in PoliceOld1 and a slicktop Tahoe in PoliceOld2. The vehicles seem to spawn fine and the ELS lights are working fine.

 

However, I want to change the carvar for them so that they spawn with the SA Exempt plates, and so that they can be modded (engine, brake, etc upgrades).

I added them into a carvar.meta with the plates and mods part set up how it should be (I think) but I cant figure out which location to put the meta in. I've searched around and I've tried my newest patchday, mpchrismas2, mpluxe, that I could find around in other forum posts, but the cars still always have Yankton plates and cant be modded.

 

Anyone know how to change these?

Just in case anyone else is looking for this, editing the CarVar within mpvalentines2 seems to have worked
