I have the backed up version on my gta as you now need to play lspdfr on the new update. The problem i get though when I get to the loading screen is that it tells me it's key binding conflicts and i can't continue from there. I have been watching some videos on youtube but i cant come to a solution of this problem. I thought maybe someone knows how to fix this problem. 

 

As i followed some directions:

I also have downloaded: nogtavlauncher and it works. I get to singleplayer and i tab out. But there i cannot start ragepluginhook.exe. It says there is: Slow system or insufficient permissions and then i get an error.

Do not wait to be in single player for start RAGEplugin... As soon you hear the sirens and the glass broke in the intro, use ALT+TAB and execute RAGEPlugin, after RAGE full load, just ALT+TAB again for return to the game. 

 

Personally... I was executing directly RAGEplugin directly for to load the game, and it worked fine to me 😄 Do not need to click GTAV icon.
