Police partner from ultimate backup not assisting me during traffic stops

So Im using ultimate backup police partner and usually whenever i perform a traffic stop, the partner would go up beside the vehicle and observe the driver and occupants, however for some reason now. The partner just goes up beside me whilst performing a traffic stop and guards me instead of going beside the vehicle helping during a traffic stop. 

i've reinstalled ultimate backup, stop the ped and some other small mods that i thought might've conflicted but its still the same. Its not a big deal but i really appreciated the immersion.

Any help?

    It does not affect the game. Bejojio (the author) would set the update to compulsory if needed.

    Could you explain how you fixed this issue? You said it was your trainer, but what about the trainer made them react this way? Im currently using Menyoo and my police partner (code 2 backup that I called for) stops just before the suspects vehicle, and stands there until the suspect gets out of the car, or they are dismissed. The immersion was great, hoping I can get this working right again. (Also I know this is a late reply lol so if you dont remember I get it)

    I pretty much deleted the menyoo trainer and everything worked the way it should.
