The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

Weird loading issues, character mismatch

Hi, it seems that when i try to load the game (which worked perfectly the other day, I haven't touched anything since then) the game shows the info message about the 22 new commands and then the game loads in Michael (even though I haven't unlocked him in the story yet) and when I change characters in the LSPDFR menu, my character sometimes spawn with no arms or hair. I can also see Franklin's next mission on the map and when I try to switch characters with left alt, it only shows recording. Michael is also called Jim Benson or Max Smith or other random names.

When I load a save to the previous auto-save, the game starts with Franklin and it seems to work as it should (although one time the simple trainer suddenly spawned me in a Zentorno).

Hi, it seems that when i try to load the game (which worked perfectly the other day, I haven't touched anything since then) the game shows the info message about the 22 new commands and then the game loads in Michael (even though I haven't unlocked him in the story yet) and when I change characters in the LSPDFR menu, my character sometimes spawn with no arms or hair. I can also see Franklin's next mission on the map and when I try to switch characters with left alt, it only shows recording. Michael is also called Jim Benson or Max Smith or other random names.

When I load a save to the previous auto-save, the game starts with Franklin and it seems to work as it should (although one time the simple trainer suddenly spawned me in a Zentorno).

Error while hiding ambient game blips: System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt

 

Disable your ambient events, you can disable it from the lspdfr.ini file, into the lspdfr folder

Alright cool, I got it to start today after I've unlocked Trevor and it seems to work alright.

What would happen if I disabled to ambient events? Would I miss out on much? Like random events?

To resolve the crash you must disable the ambient events
