Some ELS functionality isnt working

So I installed ELS and I must say, I do really enjoy it, however, there are a few things that don't seem to be working for me.

 

Firstly I have to hold down T in order to hear my sirens, its not something I can toggle on and off which bugs me.

I've tried using alt-G but it doesn't seem to change anything. I have also attempted to use the number keys like 1-5

but they only give me an activation beep and don't seem to change anything either. I have my gtaV trainer hotkeys disabled as well. Still nothing.  

 

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
