Stuck on "launching game"

Featured Replies

Whenever i launch RageHookPlugin.exe, it does all its usual stuff and then it just stays stuck on launching game. In the meantime though, the game does launch, but it's just the vanilla game. F4 doesnt bring the RHP console up, which tells me that it doesnt hook the game at all.

I've installed

- GTA 5 - 1.0.1868.1

- LSPDFR - 0.4.7

- RAGE Plugin Hook - 1.78.1267.16039

- Script Hook V - v1.0.1868.1

- Community Script Hook V .NET - 3.0.3

I've tried the following so far:

  • Launch RPH and afterwards GTA 5
  • Run RPH during the siren sequence
  • Run RPH whilst its loading into SP
  • Run RPH in the main menu
  • Run RPH with GTA 5 in safe mode

I've also added the GTA 5 folder to the AV exclusion list, i've tried running RPH as admin, i've reinstalled the launcher aswell.

This is how my GTA 5 folder looks like: https://i.imgur.com/ZheWZQJ.png

This is what my RPH looks like when its stuck: https://i.imgur.com/l7kD2KM.png

These are my command line entries: -DX11 -windowed -borderless -ignoreDifferentVideoCard

I've also followed the FAQ sent to me by a mod on the RPH discord, but to no avail. I'm happy to hear about any other troubleshooting methods that i haven't tried so far.
