Beginner Needs Some Help - Mods Not Working with LSPDFR

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Late to the modding game, but really wanted to check out LSPDFR.  I'll try to give as much background as possible.

Firstly, I am modding the root folder directly (I know, I know).  But I have my clean install folder backed up on a secondary drive should I need to revert.  I am also keeping very detailed notes about every change I make so that I have an actual change-log that I can work thru when I run into issues.

Well I've run into issues and not sure what to do at this point.

LSPDFR works fine, however, Simple Trainer I cannot get to work.  Pressing the F3 key does nothing in game.  I've also tested loading GTA5 via Steam without using RageHook and same result, it will not work.  I've ensured that I have the latest mod versions and have followed all instructions in ReadMe files, and have double checked.  All files that should be in the root are there, no additional files are in the root file.

One thought I had was having both RootHookV and RootHookVDotNet.  Do I need both of those, or could that be causing a conflict?

Any other thoughts?  My next troubleshooting approach would be to uninstall LSPDFR and try Simple Trainer as the only mod installed.  To uninstall LSPDFR you just remove all those files, correct?  You do not need to run a separate uninstaller?
