When positioning images, it helps to lower the opacity of the layer so you can see the template in the background.

Yes you should do that, it really helps just didn't pop up in my head to do that, but yes it really does help.

Great tutorial for beginners! I know I am moderate at doing skins and I learned something new to do (the multiple selection of letters, thought that was pretty interesting).

Yeah Photoshop is very cool. Very useful if you do not know the fon or cannot find a similar one.

Hey Wade, thank you for your comment and your support. To be honest for you, all I did was go to google images and searched for "sheriff cars."

It was Photoshop he used.

 

I would suggests lowering the Opacity also as that will help to line things up.
