I'll do it to match my Buffalo, but again my only concern is that it's going to be almost identical to Caine's one. I'm yet to see a bug with the windows, still testing to make sure though.

Which pushbar? Just the default one or a rhino one?

Wow, that sounds awesome. If you don't mind me asking. The above image of the improved Vapid, could you possibly throw a Vector on top of that as well (Non-ELS)? I've seen many people looking for an improved Vapid with a more updated Vector light bar you put on the improved Buffalo that you created that doesn't have the window bug (I'm referring to Lt.Cains old modification)? It'd be much appreciated.

Should be easy enough, will do.
benji: if the one by caine is unlocked that'd be easy, if not, i'm not heaps interested in UV-mapping an entire new vehicle at this stage.

Finally sorted myself out!



Just gotta finish up a couple of textures and it's good to go.

Australian police trailblazer (fictional) - nearly done, Australian police hilux (v2.0), Australian police WA Hilux (ELS), uniforms for f5544 cop
Other inactive projects include:
A new modern police bike (non els + els),

attach to: extra_1_l0
attach: extra_1_f_l0 (or whatever you named the second one)
repeat for extra 1_l1

attach one to the other so they are part of the same object.

The traffic cone/pole physics are amazing.
I think I remember your earlier post when you were starting the project. It's very impressive what a small team (single person?) can do. It looks promising, I wish you all the best with it.

Trying my damnedest to get the LSPD Vapid Cruiser ready to go but there's just something about me and collisions that I am still far from understanding.

Spikestrip v2 should be in the download section. Simple enough script, can be deployed on foot or while you're in your car.

I don't think there's a pontiac sports truck or holden ute available yet (with a police setup) but I do believe one is in the works, it just may be a while off.

A museum where they have some of the 1940s cars from LA Noire too would be really cool, being able to jump in one and drive it out of there would be awesome....
But I'm not too confident that'll happen :(

I've been the only one on this thread to point it out, but again it looks like they revamped the weapons. Besides customization which will be a major boost, GTA has finally made guns more realistic by having the slide actually cycle a round instead of remaining static. This can be seen in Franklin's trailer.
Yeah I saw this discussed elsewhere, it's really cool to see. I think it was actually in Max Payne 3 but it's great to see so much model and animation detail moved across to GTA.
For anyone wondering; you can see the slide (top half of the handguns) move back and forth when the round is fired, and you can see shell ejections/ports opening and closing on the shotguns. On top of all that too, the wepon models seem much more detailed and the sounds are way better. I really liked the gunplay for Max Payne 3 that featured all of the above as well as realistic feelings when people were shot (moreso before all the enemies started wearing armour) and I hoped it'd be put into GTA. I actually edited all weapon sounds in IV and replaced them with MP3 sounds.
I very much doubt there'll be much of an ability to customise lighting patterns in the game though, I don't think it's really a priority feature in the grand scheme of things.

Just fyi, there were different liveries across the cities in San Andreas, and I'm pretty sure LVPD had different cars.
Looks like there'll definitely be Buffalos in the game in civilian versions but the new police cars don't look like Buffalos, they look more like the police cars in saints row 3 actually.

Currently dying under the weight of all this irl stuff at the moment guys, we'll see what I get time for. Luckily, the Arjent Vapid is pretty much done so it's just a matter of testing, packaging and uploading it...

Yeah I just saw on my national news (Australia) that it had been reported that a bomber suspect was one arrested following the MIT incident.
