  1. I might be careful on that one, it could really depend on the agency. For example, US Border Patrol might disassemble your vehicle to prove otherwise.

lol yea I would never do it but the scenario would just be funny. I would love to see the officer/deputies reaction when he goes to look again and they are white.

  2. Im doing Greensboro North Carolina clan, So i need someone that will be able to make a Greensboro Police car skin and make it for multiple cars, and even uniforms. Thats all im looking for.

Actually you're wrong, Many people would most likely do it. You just got to find the right person...

Actually your wrong, most likely people will not do it because you just said you have no requests as to what the cars are so there is no reason why you can't use one of the hundreds of cars already made. No modeler is going to make cars just for the hell of it for someone else's clan. I'm not saying it wont happen but your chances are very slim. Especially when you say that you need cars made, I ask you what you want and then you said you don't care, they just need to be random. Well here ya go, since you don't care what they are I just made you 5 random cars for your clan

Now if you just want skins thats a different story. There are a lot more people who are willing to make skins than car models. Look through the requests pages and see whos replying to requests and contact them. Or make a post requests for skins and post pictures so the artists knows what you want. Otherwise you can always try and make it yourself

  3. Actually, Those are just pictures, kinda to give the person an idea... So haha, Sorry for the inconvenience

Well then the skins dont even matter. They were saying that most of those cars have already been made. You just have to take the time to look for them... No modeler is going to take the time to remake a car that has already been done 2-3 times. The only person who knows what you really want is you, so only you can look through the downloads. Yea it takes time but you'll find what your looking for if your willing to look

  4. There is a ped model, I think its by F5544 which I use and its great for plain clothes stuff. Its 2 models with badges around their necks and another with jeans, plain shirt, a vest and a gun. Its all contained within one ped though which is nice and you can just change it through the trainer. I use them for taking drug related callouts, reverse prostitution stings, watching for prostitutes to be picked up (make sure you pull them over quickly after because they have a tendency to disappear or change peds if you wait to long or get to far away), and even traffic stops

  5. The first one is 500,000 poly's, GTA IV will never be able to run that. It would take way more than just converting it to get it in game. You'd have to take the poly's from 500K to under 50,000 to even think about getting it in game, almost impossible. Your probably better off to pay someone to scratch make it.

The second one is a little better, that only comes in at 119,000 but still needs to be reduced

The third only 39,000 which is more on the GTA IV level

Good luck finding someone to convert them and I wish you even more luck finding someone to reduce them, especially the first one

  6. Yup Spike is correct, you can't use anything other than Zmodeler to export GTA IV format (WFT) cars. You have to use zmod to place and set everything up on the car but like Spike also said, you can use 3DS Max to make your own parts from scratch. Zmodeler is also capable of this but 3DS is a way better program when it comes to trying to scratch make things. It usually goes, 3DS Max which you export as a OBJ > import the OBJ into Zmod > setup materials and texture the part and either export it as a WFT for unlocked release or apply it to a vehicle

  7. Run a vanilla game.... My GTA ran great for a long time and then all the sudden one day it started crashing whenever I would spawn a car with a RESC10 Error - Out of video memory. I tried and tried to fix it but I couldn't. Then one day I tried turning the "texture resolution" or "texture quality" up, its the first or second setting right under the main game resolution I think. I had to set to low and I changed it to medium, haven't had another RESC10 error since. So try that, you'll lose a few frames but everything should be fine.

  8. Make sure your using the highest resolution badge you can find although with the texture being such a low resolution its not going to look as nice as your probably hoping it will. Also try rotating the badge to the left a little as this might help with the strange angle.

  9. Well it's very strange that ELS works, like the lights and everything but yet you can't open the console menu. Have you tried searching the forums to see if others have had this problem?

Sorry for the double post, my internet had a little hiccup there

  10. Well it's very strange that ELS works, like the lights and everything but yet you can't open the console menu. Have you tried searching the forums to see if others have had this problem?

  11. I think ELS V7 is Ctrl + M... It is for me at least.

I think your right actually. It's suppose to be CTL+M not alt. I didn't even notice that, just assumed he was pressing the corect keys. Try CTL+M
  12. I have encountered a new problem. When I press alt+m it wont show the menu. ELS does work.

You did disable the keys for the trainer right? Because often the keybindings for the trainer or other mods like ELS will conflict with each other and cause it to not work. So if you've disabled the bindings in SNT already then check any other mods you've installed to make sure nothing else is mapped to that binding (ALT+M). I don't remember but you could take a look at the ELS.ini and see if you can assign something else to open the menu and see if that works.

  13. Well i actually have a pretty nice taurus model i could use. Its 's. I have done alot of editing to it but not enough to call it my own. Maybe a slicktop Taurus and Tahoe pack?

Well if he created or converted it no matter how much work or edits you make you'll never be able to call it yours but that doesn't matter. By all means, if you have a 2013 Taurus and have permissions to have it and release it then do it. I know the community wants them and no one is releasing them. I mean do whatever you want of course but I'm just saying

  14. Snapped some new photos of my garage along with some other random things from the past few months. Had to clean out my storage to make way for new stuff, I ran out of room so a lot of my photos are gone. Wish they gave us more storage.

  15. You seem like a fine man who reads things before he judges things.... "in a very sarcastic voice"

Exactly, probably looked at the picture and went right to replying. Anyone who thinks that the LAPD would actually spend around $200,000 on a Lamborghini needs to have their common sense tank refilled. Not to mention you could never use that for patrol and imagine how comfortable (sarcasm) it would be to sit in that seat with a duty belt on.. The only thing I could maybe see them justifying that for would be high speed pursuits but even then there are a lot of cars that would be just as good for high speed pursuits that cost 1/4 of the Lambo. Plus think about the body work bill to fix the front end after you pit someone with that Gallardo. I still think its cool and looks great. It would look even better if they threw some Whelen Inner Edges in there

  16. To the people who thought they purchased this - do you really think it would get approved for them to purchase something so expensive? I see its being donated for events but if they did own it did you ever think it could have possibly been seized and they would just use it for promo stuff. Around here (Milwaukee) we have Escalades that were seized by the MPD and turned into squad cars. I've seen them responding around the city before. They say right on the car that is was seized from a local drug dealer. Now I'm not saying a Gallardo would make a good squad because it wouldn't, entirely impracticable but cool for events and stuff like that.

  17. No you don't have to play it before installing all that stuff but I would recommend you do for a few reasons. If you don't play the first mission you'll have to do it every single time you want to play the game as it forces you to. So just play it and save it as soon as you can. Then give the game a few minutes to show you all the tips, like where your health is, about the phone, food, etc. and then save again so you won't have to watch or see those pop ups every time you start the game. After all that's done just put your phone in "silent" mode so the story stops and play away. Doing all this will only take you 10-15 minutes and will save you a ton of time in the long run.

Also when you install those mods, install them 1 at a time. Install one, launch th game and test it, install another one, test it, and on and on. It will take you longer but it'll be worth it because if you install everything at once and it crashes then you have no clue what mod is causing the problem. So you end up reinstalling everything individually anyway to figure out what's causing the issue. It just ends up beig easier to do it individually.

Before you even install one single mod be sure to run the game to make sure it works good. Also after you know the game works make a copy of the vanilla game directory, the entire GTAIV directory to a backup location. That way if something gets screwed up you can just delete the screwed up version and copy in the backup. It takes a little while to copy everything but it's still 10x faster than having to uninstall and reinstall the game because you messed it up and didn't make a backup. It didn't hurt to make another backup every couple of weeks or months (depending on how often you mod your game) that way you can just revert back to your last modded backup and you don't have to redo all your mods again. Believe me, it sucks to have to reinstall tons of mods again. Just a few tips from things I've learned over the years
