  1. Kudos to making a 'real' effort to learn modeling. This is a good start. Hopefully, the community will see good things from you. I too am trying my hand at modeling and refuse to go the "gluing together" route (stay tuned). Anyway, Keep up the good work and never stop learning. You have done well so far. At the stage you are on I think wheels would be a fairly easy part for you to make.
  2. When you say updated??? What versions are you using? (of TS3 and ACRE) For acre it seems that 1.4.10.500 is the latest and TS3 3.0.10.1 (that I found) Might I recommend using sixupdater as it should keep everything up to date. P.S. I'm not familiar with this but it may be a situation where TS3 was updated and ACRE hasn't been yet which may have broken the plugin.
  3. Best I could come up with is FF QType OT Semi Extd Bold The "S" isn't quite the same. Only thing I can tell you is to keep "coughing" Edit: When I look at it again, the "C" isn't quite there either. Sorry.
  4. Yep, my steam copy works a treat as well. I would recommend the version with the Episodes, though. Also, if you don't mind waiting til, say, July 4th they always have holiday sales on Steam. http://store.steampowered.com/app/901583/
  5. I think that I will bite, but only the Xone. I'll skip the PS4 and probably upgrade my PC GPU.
  6. Never dabbled in the fire side of gta iv myself. I must say, though, you sir have done well with being new to zmodeler. You have actually piqued my interest in giving it a go. If I may ask, about how many hours per day do you put into this? Your progress so far is stunning.
  7. I was using GIMP because it was free but I had a hard time with some things. It's just not as intuitive as I would like it to be, others may get on nicely with it. I tried a demo of Paintshop Pro X5 Ultimate and found it at my local Best Buy on sale for $39.99. So far it's far better for me.

Moving right along. I recently switched to Painshop Pro X5 as it was cheap and the demo was far easier for me to work in than GIMP was. Anyway, This is actually two skins of the City of Newark, De. cruisers. They have started adopting a new scheme on their patrol cars, however, both are currently in service. The files are labeled accordingly (new & old). I am ok with anyone editing or using this in packs as long as you credit me appropriately. I would like this to remain exclusive to LCPD:FR for file transfer though. If you have any questions or comments post them below or contact me through PM. Thank you and ENJOY!!! Thanks to NickieB for the CVPI that this is used on in the photos.
  9. Were you able to accomplish what you wanted with this skin?
  10. WIFI will indeed work, however a wired connection is strongly recommended. Me personally, I would rather run 50 feet of cat.6 across my house than use WIFI but I digress. Depending on your hardware capabilities you may or may not see a performance difference. Regardless, to answer your question, NO you don't have to have a wired connection.
  11. Same here, it's very noticable when the peak times are where I am. I think I have plenty in reserve, though.
  12. Just to reiterate your PC has almost nothing to do with Internet speeds. That said, those speeds you two posted are still more than sufficient for online gaming. So, technically, it should read #TeamBadInternet but again it's not that bad.
  13. No picture shows for me. It wouldn't happen to be the beetle with the hat would it? If so, you should see them in person.
  14. You can has one of mah PC's but not mah Internet connection. Give me liberty or...wait what? They actually have a 300/65 plan that's like $200 a month. It's all good til someone gets hurt.
  15. Speeds don't matter as much as latency does (lower latency is better). Notice the picture of a speed test done on my connection. You have a download speed, which is the number most often used to market the plan you will purchase. There is upload speed and PING. This is the number that you want as low as possible and it varies for many reasons (mostly location). Is there a specific reason your looking for the minimum? If its for you, just go by your budget and get as much as you can afford. You can get good gaming speeds fairly cheap these days. If it's not for you and I missed the whole point of your question, I apologize. I have FIOS Quantum 50, get one of these and you will be good. My results:

Here is my second go at a different PD in Delaware. I think I am getting a little better at this, although, GIMP is still giving me fits. Maybe time to try something else. This one is sort of a special request for someone that didn't request it. However, I jumped at this one because it is very similar to my next release and quite a few bits will be interchangable. I was a litlle unhappy with the logo on the front fender and probably should spend some time with it (again I hate GIMP). I am pretty comfortable with the end results of this one, though. Hopefully, I will continue to progress. Thanks to Ridgerunner Designs again for the Del State Police skin that appears, also.
  17. In the comments section of the second video (first update) this question gets answered by the channel owner. Of whom, I assume has first hand knowledge. See screen below.
  18. Just being silly. I want ELS 7, soley for the stability. Is that bad?
  19. Thanks for the encouraging comments. There will certainly be more to come as I get better with this. That said, I may release an update to this as there is a few things that I would like to fix.
  20. Version 1.0

    130 downloads

This is my first attempt at a skin for GTAIV, so don't go easy on me. I enjoyed playing LCPD:FR with the Ridgerunner Designs Delaware State Police skins (partially pictured in the second screenshot), since that's where I live. I decided to go a step further and try my hand at a New Castle County skin to break up the navy blue cruisers, as that's how it is here. I used GIMP to create this and spent most of my time fighting with learning that program (it's not as intuitive as I expected). My end result is what I am offering to the masses, particuliarly those Delaware players that may be interested. I am ok with anyone editing or using this in packs as long as you credit me appropriately. I would like this to remain exclusive to LCPD:FR for file transfer though. If you have any questions or comments post them below or contact me through PM. Thank you and ENJOY!!!
