  1. Is it safe to say that if you import a vehicle model that isn't properly developed and performance with ELS corruption, you are more likely to see a crash. Also making sure scripts are correctly installed and everything is up to date will help keep the crashes down. From what I've taken from testing is that most of the crashes are coming from vehicle model files being unstable.

Not to mention I'm running a computer with 1gb video graphics (which is a bit out of date @ 2 years old), and  8gb installed physical memory with x64bit Windows 7 Ultimate. My Hard drive is a bit low on performance end at 5.9 windows scale HDD 500GB. 2.9GHZ 4 core processor.

Again I believe it's a combination of multiple things but from my testing end it's been mostly vehicle model files being unstable with ELS and GTA optimization.

     Any thoughts..

  2. Ok call me stupid or whatever but I've tried the search (not vigorously but still enough)... where do you find all downloadable ELS files? Could the link to ELS Files be posted here kindly? thank you

PS- Any and all ELS files v6, v5 whatever. I find it hard to use the site search feature as it sends me to other posts asking the same thing.

  3. Not really. Anything with anywhere near the polish of RAGE takes loads of time and money. Keep in mind, RAGE was the full-time job of a pretty large number of professional game designers. The LCPDFR devs do it in their spare time for free. It's not really possible to get from here to there.

About things like Doom and Facebook: Doom may have been good when it came out, but try playing it now. Facebook today is far more advanced than Facebook back when it started; the starting product couldn't be nearly as popular as it is now. Polish matters. It is also time-consuming and expensive.

I agree with that.. note that I don't know much about RAGE but with enough time, money and motivation anything is possible right?

I still have a lot to learn on the subject if development and producing/designing but it is something that can be very enjoyable if you can get into it enough. If I had some serious cash I'd support the G17Media team all the way.. like I said what they have done is amazing and I wouldn't be surprised if rockstar games inc or any other game dev companies for that matter take a key interest in what G17Media has done no?

  4. Hell how many people were involved in the creation of the first consumer based computer? I think not that many. Mark Zuckerberg started a huge online site with just himself and his partner. It only takes some very good skills and knowledge to create something amazing and fun. the game DOOM if you remember back when it came out I believe it involved just a small number of people. Of course money is a problem as most tools and programs needed to develop such a game isn't cheap,... example autocad.

I have some development programs as well as autocad but again like mention money money money and resources and time.. but just the thought of a COPS based game with the LCPDfr concept makes me want to take a cold shower ahem ....

  5. What would make a great spin off from the GTA series other then (L.A. Noire)  where the LCPDFR mod is turned into an actual game in itself. Like, lets say, same mapping and world engine as GTA but with a modern police only series. Firm and stable build and development of a COPS game on its own using LCPDFR's concept?

Personally would love this if it was to be created/development. Basically a game that is GTA spin off but based of the show COPS

  6. Ya my psychical memory is at 4 GB running on windows ultimate with a Nvidia geforce graphics card at 1gb memory and overclocker at 1700mhz memory but I bought it about 2 years ago and it was one of their lower end cards, also a 4 core AMD processor at 2.9ghz so I do need to upgrade my computer which I'm making a best guest that with a computer with the most memory and high speed cpu and graphics cards you'll see less crashes even with high poly and ELS

  7. Woah there... Let me stop you there by reporting your post. No need to call anyone names at any time. Absolutely uncalled for.

Both people who respectfully advised the OP to not take your advice were in no way being egotistical. They were simply saving the person from doing a hell of a lot more work than needed.

A simple update to GTA should fix this OP's problems. At no point in anytime should reinstalling windows be necessary as majority of the time, reinstalling GTA and updating drivers will fix a problem.

Again, I would recommend you think before posting again as I feel you are going to instigate flaming.

Ok i'm done giving advice as it seems it just causes conflicts. It's advice! take it or leave it, i have a right to my opinion and when people tell me I shouldn't give advice that itself is rude. Report my post, go ahead, all I was trying to do was help and I got smashed on. I'm done with giving advice. Just a note the OP has not marked this solved nor has the OP responded. Sorry and bye- wtf
  8. well only time will tell, that's all I'm going to say. a fresh install of windows with the latest updates is like buying a new car, smells great, works great, handles great. it's a suggestion I will stick by no matter what egotistic fuck tells me what to do.

  9. Can I suggest that you don't try to offer assistance if you're just going to stab in the dark at solution? Re-installing windows should be a last resort.

I just offered my personal advice which works for me. I will not be held responsible for any ones escalated problems if they take my advice in which they do not know what they are doing. You are right, re-installing windows is a last resort for all problems, regardless of the issue, but I have no problems in doing so which is why I offered it as my advice. May I suggest you don't tell me what assistance I can and can't give, that's asinine of you, come on! Give me a break It's just a suggestion not a frk'n physical assault lol
