So I got on my PC this morning and opened up RPH to find that the game had updated. So as usual, I reverted using RPH built in backup system. I opened up my game, and it still reads build 1493, and I get a crash just before it finishes loading the world. I'm really not sure what to do now, because I used RPH to revert, yet it's still saying I'm on build 1493.

That function has never worked for me, I just back up the four important files which are:

    • GTA5\update\update.rpf
    • GTA5.exe
    • GTAVLauncher.exe
    • steam_api64.dll

I would advise you against relying on anything RT broadcasts, as they're experts at shuffling facts and are primarily aimed at Russian viewers to demonstrate the decay of the West.

And those guys are paid for by our taxes. What a joy.

Sure, I know that. We Swedes are taught to always fear the Russians.

I can confirm a lot of things in the documentary however, which is why I shared it.

  3. It's depressing. Most of them aren't UN-designated refugees either, there are a lot of economic migrants that pour into the country without asylum because they are more or less free to be wherever in the country while awaiting their asylum approval. We don't have enough police to deport the persons whose asylum has been declined, let alone enough police that can patrol the ghettos/no-go zones that the migrants create.

This video by Russia Today is an interesting watch if you want more details regarding Sweden's poor integration.

  4. This will be fixed in 0.4

Another big change is coming to pursuits, the AI for both, criminals and cops has been rewritten completely to allow for a much more realistic experience and more fine-tuning for specific behavior.  It is now based on behavior trees, similar to how many games or game engines define AI behavior.  We hope that by defining small parts of behavior and chaining them together to more complex actions, we will be able to maintain our code more easily and prevent it from growing too complex.

We also tried to create a real challenge in terms of pursuits while still allowing the player to enjoy the chase.  This resulted in various different options for chases, for instance how well the suspects handle cars including possible boosts for their driving skills.  Some of you might know that GTA V limits the maximum speed for AI controlled vehicles allowing you to easily catch up and pass a sports car on the highway.  If you want, this limit is now gone resulting in a more realistic pursuit experience for fast vehicles.

Of course, while improving the suspect AI our cop AI started to show its age.  It has also been redesigned completely especially focusing on less aggressive driving behavior. Your fellow officers will now actually respect you and also only ram the suspect if the situation permits it.

Finally, since we are now able to read data from the game’s internal pathfinding, we were able to introduce some interesting new features.  For instance, depending on the route of the suspect they might now also try to block the suspect from passing them, especially when called in recently as backup.  This also helps with clearing up traffic since we have a general idea of where the suspect and the cop cars are headed next and based on their vehicle type, the suspect will now also prefer different types of roads.

Why are they two different options

Immersion - for people who don't want the Sheriff's department responding to a pursuit on the highway, when they know that the Highway (state) Patrol has jurisdiction on highways.

However, I personally never call for State Patrol unless I'm using Realism Dispatch Enhanced, as that mod actually includes proper SAHP cars and helicopters.

I tried it already 0 errors found! but it did not work. No problem everything seems to be working. Game version currently using 1.43 , is there any fix for this version.Or should i downgrade game to 1.41.

No, that's not necessary. Ask Albo1125 for help in the comments of the Assorted Callouts mod page - include your RagePluginHook.log file and/or link to this thread.

  7. Hi. The LSPDFR package includes an old version of RagePluginHook, so if you just re-installed LSPDFR, you need to download the latest RPH patch as well. Common error, easy fix - you can download it here.

If you did install the latest RPH, however, post your RagePluginhook.log file here along with a screenshot of all files in your GTA 5 directory.

Hi, post a screenshot of all files in your GTA 5 folder along with your RagePluginHook.log file.

  9. There's no such installer, unfortunately. That's partially good since I think it should be up to personal preference what callouts and plugins you'd like to include in your game. Some prefer the super-realistic policing experience while some prefer a more relaxed approach.

Here's a general step-by-step guide I can provide you with:

    1. Download and install LSPDFR

    2. Download and install the latest version of RagePluginHook

    3. Download and install the latest version of ScriptHookV

    4. Start the game up and see if it works. If it does, move on to step 5, if it doesn't, ask for help here.

    5. Pick some plugins from this list that you like, you can pick however many you like, though I would start with one.

    6. Read through the README file carefully, they contain instructions on how to install the plugin 90% of the time.

    7. Repeat step 6 with all plugins you would like to use and enjoy.

Another little thing to remember is that when you install plugins you usually get a 'plugins' folder, and that's not a big deal - it's pretty much plug'n'play.

However, some mods include .dll files which are supposed to go in the GTA 5 root folder. If the mod includes a file you already have in your GTA 5 folder - make sure that the file included with the mod is not older than the file you already have installed. If it is older - leave it be, and install the rest of the mod.

It's a really small thing which is easy to overlook that can make the game crash.

  10. Hi, post a screenshot of all files in your GTA 5 folder along with your RagePluginHook.log file.

What exactly did you do with the LSPDFR dispatch sounds? Modification to the sound files shouldn't mess up the game like that.

What other mods do you have installed?
